As I promised, if enough people cheer me on, I'll make an official pattern for this beautiful ruffled collar! I did not include guidelines or pattern for the embroidery because I'm convinced that you all are very creative people! There are so many possibilities to embellish the collar that I can't cover everything, anyway ;)

I think the notes on the pattern should cover pretty much everything you need to know about seam allowances, sizes and ruffle strip dimensions. The Ruffle Collar Pattern by Eva Wenig (MademoiselleChaos) is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 3.0 Germany License. The commercial use of this pattern (i.e. sale of items made using the pattern) is not sooo much appreciated — the sale of this free pattern itself, though, is prohibited entirely for obvious reasons.
